Shauna McGee Kinney - started sailing Hobie 16s in 2000 at the University of California Los Angeles' public sailing school. She began racing all types of catamarans with the highlights of her racing being crew at 2005 Hobie Tiger Words - Santa Barbara, 2005 Hobie 16 Nationals - Ventura and 2006 Long Beach Race Week on a Reynolds 33. Her favorite events include distance sailing a NACRA 20 from Los Angeles to Catalina Island. Shauna recruits and organizes crew for the Hobie 16s and promotes the public Learn to Sail programs at Nedlands Yacht Club. Look for Shauna crewing for skipper Wayne Mitchell at the top of the B Fleet.

Wayne Mitchell - Started 1971 on Manley Juniors. Aust Titles: Manley Juniors 1973 all at Perth Flying Squadron Sail till 1976. Restarted sailing at Perth Flying Squadron in 1992 to 1994 Solings. 1994 at Royal Perth in a Etchells. Started sailing Hobies at Whitfords Bay Sailing Club in 1997. Joined Nedlands in 2002. My best sailing moments were 13th in Manly Juniors Nationals and Albany State Titles in 2004. Sailing Ambition just to keep sailing and to beat Big Al and Lance but doesn’t every one!
